Joanna Brown

Joanna recently joined the Hudson Advisory Team in November 2025, and she brings over 8 years of experience in Real Estate operations with a people-first approach to every aspect of her work. Previously, she played an integral role in driving the success of one of Brooklyn’s Top Real Estate teams. She is known for her warmth, collaborative spirit, professionalism, and her genuine care of clients and colleagues alike.

Throughout her career, she has supported hundreds of transactions amongst New York City’s most dynamic and sought-after neighborhoods, ensuring a smooth transaction process from contract to closing. Combining sharp operational expertise, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail, Joanna excels at transaction management, client support, and team coordination. 

Joanna earned a degree in Creative Writing from The New School and prior to working in Real Estate, she spent a decade in the Veterinary Industry working in both technical and administrative roles, which profoundly shaped her strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and her ability to remain calm while navigating challenging situations. 

Born and raised in Park Slope, Joanna is a native New Yorker, and she was fortunate to be exposed to some of the most beautiful prewar homes in Brooklyn, which created a love of historic character and craftsmanship. Additionally, she is an avid reader, has an affinity for music, and loves to savor long walks in Prospect Park & Greenwood Cemetery when she’s not spending time with her three beloved cats.
